How do I apply for membership?

You can apply online here. Admittance to the Designer Trade Program is contingent upon receipt of appropriate credentials (see below) and a complete application. After your application has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email containing a personal discount code that can be used immediately.

Appropriate Application Credentials:

  • Valid membership to a major design organization (ASID, IIDA, AIA, NKBA, IDC, etc.)
  • Business or resale license - Signed resale certificates are required for each state where you seek tax exemption (US only)
  • Business card with your design profession
  • Interior design certification (NCIDQ, CCID, etc.)
  • Utah Exemption Certificate, form TC-721 (for those designers residing outside of Utah) - If exempt from taxes in multiple states, complete a streamlined sales tax exemption form instead

How does the Trade Program Discount Work?

We provide discounts and more to trade professionals based on overall spend. As your yearly spend increases, your benefits grow. See the breakdown of benefits in the “How it Works” section of this page.

How do I place an order?

Placing an order with your Designer Trade discount is simple! Just log into your House of Jade Home account and apply your personal discount code at checkout. Orders and quote requests can also be made via email (trade@houseofjadehome.com). Please allow up to 24 hours for a response or feedback.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

There is no minimum order quantity or order dollar amount necessary to receive your discount.

What shipping options are available?

All of our shipping information is located here. Expedited shipping is available for decor at an additional cost, upon request. For furniture, lighting, and artwork, please call or email us for available options. White Glove Delivery is included at checkout for large furniture pieces under our handling fee.

Are fabric and material samples available?

Fabric samples are available upon request. Rug swatches are also available for a fee; a refund will be issued if swatches are returned within 30 days. Returns on rug swatches are free when you qualify for Level 3 benefits. If qualified for Level 1 or 2, please contact a Designer Trade representative for additional information.

What is your return policy?

We are very confident in our products and are more than happy to let you return most of our items within 30 days from the date you received your order. You will be responsible for return shipping and you will need to return the item in its original packaging. Your refund amount will be the total order value less shipping and handling charges. Shipping and handling is nonrefundable. In most cases we can use our discounted shipping prices to create a return label, but some situations may warrant you having to create the return shipping label yourself. Please contact us here to start the return process. Some items have additional rules related to our general 30 day return window policy.
